It also reduces the amount of tax paid by your estate, and ensures your money goes to programs you believe in. Bequests help us in times when traditional sources of funding are uncertain. A dedicated gift in your will enables us to continue our work and fulfill our commitments to the communities we work with.

HOW TO LEAVE A BEQUEST TO CASA - PUEBLITO

In writing your will, consult with your lawyer about including some of the sample wording below. There are different types of bequests, so it is important to consider what you would like to designate to our organization. If you have decided to leave a bequest to Casa – Pueblito, please advise us of your decision.

To give a specific amount:

“I give to Casa Canadiense – Pueblito Canada, 2356 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S 1P3, the sum of $__ for general use.”

To give a percentage of the estate:

“I give to Casa Canadiense – Pueblito Canada, 2356 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S 1P3 ___ percent (__%) of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate for general use.”

To give a specific asset:

“I give to Casa Canadiense – Pueblito Canada, 2356 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S 1P3, ____ shares of XXX Company for general use.”

To give a conditional gift:

“In the event that my son/daughter does not survive me, I give to Casa Canadiense – Pueblito Canada,2356 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S 1P3….”
